Communitarianism has been around a lot longer than it has been on the common man’s radar — what it is, what it will mean, how it encroaches on the privacy and autonomy of the individual for the so-called “collective good”.

Many initiatives which undermine our Constitution are threaded through this “new” utopian ideal, which purports to enrich the individual.

But in reality, it is a tool of the elite to control and “manage” the teeming hordes of people who have been systemically groomed by sub-standard education and broken social systems, to knee-jerk react to anything approximating a quick-fix.

Give it palatable name, or a snappy acronym — like ‘SMART”, and boy-howdy, they’re all-in.
